Today was spent continuing to repair the plastics and beginning on the undercarriage rebuild.
| Back right armrest panel--the plastic will be painted, but not before the brown wood grain decals come off. I'll need to manufacture new parts for the armrest cushion and get fresh decals made. |
| These brackets surround each window. They not only hold the window in place, they also serve to hold the interior plastic trim in place. Because there are specific holes where each screw goes and no bracket screw holes are symmetrical, each bracket needs to be numbered so it will all fit back together. |
| A good view of all the brackets. |
| The left main. The shock disks and brake line will be replaced. |
| The wheel, the bracket that holds the wheel and the gear door took two hours to remove. Other parts will follow. I'm hoping I can halve my time on the other side. |
| One side at a time to make sure we have a mirror image from which to rebuild. |
| Ahhh, the fun part arrived, but won't be touched for another couple of months. I'm going to make my passengers wear surgical booties. |
