It's just a couple of simple pieces--the carpet and the pilot side kick panel--but it took quite a few hours.

| The plastic parts covering the nose wheel well directly in front of the
Johnson Bar are tricky. I had already installed them before I laid the
carpet to find out the carpet needed to be tucked underneath, so off
they came again. Also note the fuel selector valve on the left floor. I had to cut the carpet to keep the valve and strainer accessible and for the plastic collar to fit over. |

| It's always a challenge to find blind screw holes. I started with the ball-vent and worked my way down. |

| As you may recall, we replaced the fuel selector valve because the strainer wasn't working. Hard part to come by! Glenn had filled the right wing with fuel on Friday and to test it on Sunday, I moved the fuel selector valve to "right", but continued to work in the cockpit for 15 more minutes. I emerged to find this pool of avgas on the floor. Very disconcerting. We'll investigate next week. |
