More landing gear work... and a surprise at sundown

The landing gear work continues to move forward. We're in the process of re-assembling the left side as we begin dis-assembly and paint on the right side. I also managed to expel the plastic cover of the nose wheel in the cockpit. The last piece was fastened to the trim gauge cables.
Rt Gear Flap
Plastic that is right in front of Johnson bar. The cables are attached to flap and trim indicators. I removed the little screws and their tinnerman backings and then detached the cables by removing the cotter pins. How am I going to get this back together?

Wheels etch primed. These will be painted our Mooney white.
Ahhh, look what dropped in at 88R. The "Sarah Jean" was a treat at our little airport. She did a high speed pass at 360kts--THUNDEROUS!

Taking Gary for a ride around the patch before sundown.
